Egypt’s youth empowerment was highlighted by Egypt’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Mohamed Gaber Abul Wafa, during a recent community meeting aimed at strengthening ties with young Egyptians living abroad. The ambassador said that Egypt’s political leadership places strong importance on preparing and supporting youth as key drivers of future development.

The remarks were made during an interactive event organized by the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait. The meeting focused on connecting with second and third-generation Egyptians living in the country. It also aimed to listen to their ideas, initiatives, and concerns.

According to the ambassador, Egypt youth empowerment is a central part of national policy. He said that young people are not only the future but also an active force in the country’s current development process. He described them as a core pillar in building long-term progress.

The ambassador stressed that Egypt is working on several initiatives designed to develop youth skills. These programs target both citizens inside Egypt and those living abroad. He highlighted initiatives such as “Speak Arabic” and the “Egypt Can” conference as examples of efforts to strengthen cultural identity and build professional skills.

He added that Egyptian institutions have strong confidence in young people. According to him, youth inside Egypt and across the world are trusted to contribute to sustainable development. He said this trust reflects the country’s long-term vision for a stronger and more modern society.

Egypt youth empowerment also includes expanding opportunities for participation and leadership. The ambassador noted that the embassy in Kuwait is committed to supporting young Egyptians through regular dialogue platforms. These platforms allow youth to share ideas and engage in discussions about community and national issues.

He explained that continuous communication helps build stronger connections between the embassy and Egyptian youth abroad. It also encourages young people to take part in positive activities that support their communities.

The event in Kuwait included an open and interactive discussion. Young participants shared their views on identity, education, and community involvement. Many also presented ideas for initiatives that could support both Egyptian society and diaspora communities.

According to the ambassador, these discussions reflect the strong commitment of young Egyptians to national causes. He said their engagement shows a willingness to contribute to development efforts both at home and abroad.

Egypt youth empowerment has become a recurring theme in official speeches and government programs. Authorities say investing in youth is essential for economic growth, innovation, and social stability. They also emphasize education, training, and cultural awareness as key areas of focus.

Programs such as “Egypt Can” are designed to showcase success stories of young Egyptians in different fields. These initiatives aim to inspire others and highlight the role of youth in shaping the country’s future.

The “Speak Arabic” initiative is another effort aimed at strengthening cultural and linguistic identity among Egyptians living overseas. It encourages younger generations to stay connected with their language and heritage.

Officials say such programs help bridge the gap between Egyptians at home and abroad. They also support the goal of building a unified national identity across generations.

During the Kuwait meeting, the ambassador reiterated that youth empowerment is not limited to education and training. It also includes creating opportunities for participation in decision-making and encouraging innovation in various sectors.

He said that young people should be seen as partners in development rather than just beneficiaries of policies. This approach, he added, helps create a more active and engaged society.

The embassy’s outreach efforts are part of a broader strategy to strengthen relations with Egyptian communities abroad. Kuwait hosts a significant number of Egyptian expatriates, many of whom are involved in various professional fields.

By engaging directly with younger generations, the embassy aims to ensure that future leaders remain connected to their roots while contributing to their host countries.

The meeting concluded with further discussions between officials and participants. Youth attendees expressed appreciation for the opportunity to share their perspectives and ideas directly with the ambassador.

Egypt youth empowerment continues to be a key focus in national planning. Officials say that investing in young people will remain central to Egypt’s long-term development strategy, both domestically and internationally.
