    Egypt, Kuwait Ties Boost Under Al-Sisi Diplomacy

    Egypt Kuwait relations are in focus after President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s full support for Kuwait’s security and stability. He stressed that Kuwait’s safety is a key part of Arab security and also linked to Egypt’s own national security. The message came during high-level talks in Cairo with a senior Kuwaiti official. Officials said this step supports stability in the Gulf region and wider Arab cooperation.

    According to the Egyptian presidency, Al-Sisi met Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The minister delivered greetings from the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Both sides praised the long history of strong ties between Egypt and Kuwait. They described the relationship as stable and friendly. Leaders also reviewed decades of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

    Al-Sisi highlighted the importance of Egypt Kuwait relations in trade and investment. He said recent progress is positive but more work is needed. He called for stronger economic cooperation. He also stressed expanding joint projects that can support growth in both countries. This cooperation is seen as important for future economic growth and stability.

    The Kuwaiti foreign minister thanked Egypt for its support. He said Kuwait values Egypt’s role in Gulf stability. He also said Kuwait wants deeper coordination with Cairo on regional issues. He stressed that both countries face shared challenges that require joint action. They agreed that regional coordination is necessary in times of uncertainty.

    In a separate meeting, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held talks with his Kuwaiti counterpart. They discussed ways to improve Egypt Kuwait relations further. They focused on political coordination and economic cooperation. Both sides also reviewed regional and global developments. They also stressed the need for continued dialogue at all levels.

    The foreign ministries said both countries want stronger economic ties. They pointed to sectors such as infrastructure, real estate, industry, and energy. They also discussed possible trilateral cooperation in Africa. These plans aim to create more shared investment opportunities. These efforts aim to attract more foreign investment into Egypt and Kuwait.

    Both sides expressed hope to hold the 14th session of the joint Egyptian-Kuwaiti committee before the end of the year. This meeting is expected to review ongoing projects. It will also set new goals for future cooperation under Egypt Kuwait relations. This committee plays a key role in maintaining strong bilateral relations.

    On regional issues, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s strong support for Kuwait. He rejected any threats to its security. He also called for stronger Arab unity to face regional challenges. He said cooperation is key to stability in the Middle East. Officials say unity among Arab states is vital for peace.

    The talks also covered wider regional tensions. They discussed efforts to reduce conflict in the region. They also reviewed US-Iran negotiations. Egypt said any future agreements must consider Gulf security concerns. This is important for long-term stability. Both sides emphasized the need for diplomatic solutions to conflicts.

    Abdelatty also shared details of his recent diplomatic visits. These included talks in Washington and a meeting in Antalya. The Antalya meeting included foreign ministers from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Türkiye. These talks focused on regional coordination. They focused on improving coordination between regional partners.

    Both Egypt and Kuwait agreed on the importance of joint Arab action. They said strong cooperation is needed during global uncertainty. They stressed that unity helps protect regional interests. They also agreed to continue regular consultations. They agreed that regular meetings help build trust and cooperation.
