Manchester City sent a clear Premier League title message with a dominant 3-0 win over Liverpool, cutting Arsenal’s lead to four points.

Despite Erling Haaland missing an early penalty, the striker opened the scoring with his 19th goal of the season before Nico González’s deflected strike made it 2-0 before half-time.

Jérémy Doku capped his outstanding performance with a brilliant curling goal for 3-0, earning a standing ovation as City showcased their trademark intensity and precision.

Liverpool saw a Virgil van Dijk goal ruled out by VAR and struggled to match City’s physical and technical superiority, falling to a fourth consecutive away defeat — a major blow to their title hopes.

City, celebrating Pep Guardiola’s 1,000th match as a manager, were in complete control and reaffirmed their place as Arsenal’s main challengers.
