Russia launched 142 attack and decoy drones at Ukraine overnight, Air Force officials reported on Telegram.

Explosions erupted in Kherson, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro as drones struck multiple targets.

Ukrainian forces intercepted 126 drones, while 16 drones hit 10 locations.

Casualties and Damage in Kherson and Odesa

Local media confirmed two people died and 14 were injured in Kherson.

Drones destroyed nine houses, a hospital, schools, an administrative building, a gas station, and several cars.

Odesa officials reported one injury and extensive damage in Chornomorsk, including major harm to energy infrastructure.

Governor Oleg Kiper said 29,000 residents lost electricity, though crews immediately powered critical facilities with generators.

    Zelenskyy Reports Heavy Russian Losses

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called Russia’s latest attack its third large-scale strike this week.

He said Moscow demonstrates that without global pressure, the war will continue indefinitely.

Zelenskyy confirmed Russian forces suffered heavy losses in Pokrovsk, where Moscow focuses its strongest attacks.

He added Ukrainian troops in Donetsk continue completing assigned missions and systematically destroy Russian units.

Zelenskyy reported Russia lost more than 290,000 soldiers killed or severely wounded in eight months of fighting.
